Ocado

I had an Ocado delivery on 31/7 and use PayPal to pay... but they’ve not taken the money yet. I phoned them and they said payment had gone through fine... but it’s not been taken. Has anyone paid Ocado through PayPal? Will the money go soon? I’m worried about spending it by accident!

I use paypal all the time for Ocado and it generally goes out of my bank within 2-3 days (not including the weekends). Is your paypal linked to your actual bank account or a debit/credit card?

When you say they haven't taken the money yet, do you mean from your bank account? Do you have any money actually in paypal? As they will use the balance of your paypal account first before taking it from your bank.

No balance in PayPal, and nothing taken from my bank. It’s weird.

I had this a few weeks ago- quick polite nudge on Twitter and they took it a few hours after.
