Blatant drug dealing

I live in a place voted one of the nicest places to live in recentish years. I went on a UK holiday somewhere voted nice for families to go to.

In the last 2 months I have seen 3 drug deals literally in front of me, 2 in my town whilst holding my kids' hands walking down the street and 1 in the holiday location literally outside my front door.

I'm not looking for it. I've never been into drugs. It must be completely blatant for me to notice it. I have never seen a deal happening before (to my knowledge hence why this is so obvious).

What is going on? Do drug dealers have no shame any more? Is it so widespread it happens everywhere? 2 in my home town in broad daylight on normal streets.

My children of course didn't have a clue what was going on thankfully but this disregard for families around them is not OK. Drugs harm people and I'm utterly surprised at how blatant the dealing is.

Our drug dealers are are totally blatant. I've been reporting it to police for year. The police only turn up when knives have been involved.
But they do move up the street when the kids are playing out.

Seen it here too. Both outside the flats and outside the kids' dad's house.

🙋‍♀️ me. I've never smoked weed. Like anyone I heard the 'don't do drugs' messages growing up. And in my case I actually listened to them and can honestly say I made the right choice. Never regretted saying no.

Drugs cause arguments as evidenced by the screaming match I heard whilst on holiday between a woman and her dealer. I'm glad the DCs were in bed.

I get that people do drugs but honestly can they not do them in front of me please? There's no go areas of our local town park and the sandpit had to be removed because of needles hidden in the sand but I do object to it in the middle of the pavement I'm walking on at 4pm-ish with my DC!

I lived in a village and a dealer lived round the corner. Police did nothing which made me believe he was an informer. One evening he must have taken something and climbed on top of the room of a shop. I willed the smackhead to fall and die, but sadly he didn’t. Would have cost a lot less to scoop his bit off the floor than chopper in a negotiator to get him down.

Its fucking everywhere. Why cant they all just take too much and die?

That reminds me. A friend was selling her lovely lovely house and I looked round it before looking out of the window and remembering her moaning about the smell of weed from the dealer on the corner.
