Robust school shoes

I know this topic has been done many times but I couldn't find anything recent. My DD is terrible at going through shoes, you'd think heading into year 8 wouldn't be so much of a problem now but you should see the state of her shoes from last year. Even though they where Startrite shoes they very quickly looked tatty.

Now with the added problem of her having larger feet, size 6. I'm looking for something that will last and look good for high school. Clark's are no good she goes through the soles and I'm not sure they do her size now. We've had hush puppies before to, ok but not great, also tried that brand everyone said was really robust (can't remeber the name) she trashed them.

Also frustrating thing is I'd put her in doc's but she doesn't like the really chunky look shoes.
She's just hard wearing on her feet nothing specific she does with them. No playing football or anything like that.
Any good idea's?

Dd used to wear Sketchers shoes in secondary they lasted the year

What about treads? They’re an online shop and they look really hard wearing. They guarantee them 12 months too!

I'm ruling out Clark's as if the children shoes can't survive I don't think the adult ones will.

Will have a look at the other's thanks.

Dd used to wear Geox and Start Rite and they lasted around 2 years once her feet had stopped growing.

We have always found Geox last really well. In fact, if she hadn't grown, my DD would be able to wear last year's pair again next year.

She's a tree climbing adventurer and they have taken a beating. They need a lot of polish but are structurally in great condition.

My DD just got 'froddo' brogues, they look really sturdy and comfy.
