Bit confused about my drink intake.
I drink over the recommended allowance. I can polish off a bottle of wine maybe 3 or 4 nights of the week. Sometimes more. I do it because I enjoy the feeling of it. But if I don't fancy it or have a reason not to drink it's not a problem to me. A bit like the way I like to binge on chocolate and pizza - it's not healthy but I enjoy it!
Alcoholism is a touchy subject here and I'm firmly of the opinion that alcohol addiction is categorised by behaviour and dependance not volume. I don't think I'm addicted but I do think I should probably cut down even though I find enjoyable because it's not that good for my health - the same as going on a diet which I find equally tough!
How would you define alcoholism?
