Suggestions for what ‘Etta’ could be short for!

So me and the hubby are planning another baby very soon. One of the girls names I really like is ‘Etta’ but hubby is not convinced. He says it sounds like it should be short for something. I like it on its own but I get where he is coming from. We have an Alexander who is known as Xander. So it would make sense for any other children to have a diminutive.
I have suggested a few names, which he doesn’t like. And tbh I am not that keen on either!
What do you all think of the following? And do you have any other suggestions?

We knew a Carbetta (very old family name) shortened to Etta :)

Etta is a name on its own though, I wouldn’t try to make it longer to get dh to agree. Baby might like the full name and you could hate Etta. I really dislike my dds middle names now. I’d think of something else if he direct like Etta

I love Etta but my dh won't entertain it because of E.T.A. I also love Isis. Terrorist groups really shouldn't be allowed to call themselves girls names .

If you like Etta just use that.

If you call her Henrietta etc you run a significant risk that she'll prefer Henry or whatever. You can't control nicknames.

I think Etta on its own is much nicer than any of the suggestions for longer names.
