Definitely. We've watched them all twice.

ChesterDrawsDoesntExist · 04/08/2019 20:33

I've binged watched them all more than once.

So yes. You do.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 04/08/2019 20:33

Yes. Unless you are easily scared or squeamish

But I still don't really like Chloe Decker. She's just so... ugh, I dunno.

mommybear1 · 04/08/2019 20:34

YES!!!! Brilliant series

Cookit · 04/08/2019 20:34

I regret watching Luther because I am now scared to be in the house alone at night... honestly one of the most terrifying programmes I have ever seen. Most other people seem to come fine watching it though, so I guess I’m just a wimp.

Saucery · 04/08/2019 20:35

It’s ok, but the Alice Morgan bits are 💤

youngestisapsycho · 04/08/2019 20:36

Hours of Idris Elba.... what could be better?!😂

Lindormilk · 04/08/2019 20:43

Oh im a bit 😨 alone. Creaky house in the middle of nowhere.

OP posts:
RezCowgirl · 04/08/2019 20:50

Yes, but lock all the windows and doors first

cheeseislife8 · 04/08/2019 20:54

Yes you do! It's addictive

Thiswontendwell · 04/08/2019 20:56

Oh no!
As it happens I watched Episode 1 of Series 1 a couple of evenings ago as a bit of a random choice and thought I might keep going (as someone said - hours of Idris Elba - what's not to like?) but i do live in a slightly isolated location. Ans I didn't realise it was THAT scarey. So maybe I shouldn't continue?

Butternutsqoosh · 04/08/2019 20:57

Been the best thing on the telly box for ages - definitely a must watch!

BrokenWing · 04/08/2019 20:58

It's OK, watchable but nothing special, first few episodes are the best then it goes a bit off. I don't see the Idris Elba attraction either.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 04/08/2019 20:59

Maybe lock your wardrobe and attic too. Later series much less scary than the earlier ones

Bumbags · 04/08/2019 21:00

Ooh it’s good

Trixya · 04/08/2019 21:05

Definitely!

SquishyFishy · 04/08/2019 21:06

I must be the only person that thought it was utter drivel.

Every episode = entire police force bumble around hopelessly then Luther 'coz he's a reckless tough guy saves the day.....until next time.

NeedaDiscoNap · 04/08/2019 21:07

YES.

Idris in his long coat - hours and hours of it. Dreamy.

Graphista · 04/08/2019 21:09

Nope!

I've tried 3 times to "give it a chance" but the acting and writing are truly dire!

I cannot see why everyone likes idris so much he's awful!

AddNameHere · 04/08/2019 21:14

Yes, but not alone 😂

AddNameHere · 04/08/2019 21:15

Seriously, not alone 😂

Lindormilk · 04/08/2019 21:18

Idris does nothing for me!

OP posts:
Nextphonewontbesamsung · 04/08/2019 21:18

No. It is brimful of extreme violence towards women and the central plot line is just silly. Idris is charismatic, no denying it, but there's nothing else to this series. This "serial killers are irresistably attractive" trope really needs to die now.

vampirethriller · 04/08/2019 21:20

Yes, it's not the best acting and it's pretty unrealistic but it's highly entertaining! Except the last series, which is awful and I still don't get what the hell it was on about, even after watching it 3 times.
