Help! I've washed a pen

Just taken the wash out of the machine and I found a biro lurking in there. Obviously all of my stuff is unmarked but teenage DSs expensive t-shirt and DPs tshirts are covered in black ink.
I've tried alcohol wipes which did fade it a bit and now I've put it back in to re wash.
Any tips or will they be have to be consigned to the bin?

Try washing up liquid. Don't wash in warm water as it will bake the ink into the fabric

Ah bugger, it's on its second machine wash

Try colour run remover?

I’ve used hand sanitizer with alcohol to remove ink stains as per here

Absolutely coated?? Bin.
Small marks you may have luck with alcohol.

Yeah, I've binned the one that was covered.
I'm hoping I can save the others. Acetone nail varnish remover seems to be working. Thanks MN Smile

The Stain Devil for biro ink was the absolute business back in the day. I've not seen Stain Devils around for ages though- do they still do them? If so, give them a try.

Dont some people recommend hair spray for biro on sofas? That might be worth trying too. I think you need to dissolve the ink and blot away with a damp both whichever method you use.
