Blow your own horn time! What is your talent/special skill? Can you do anything 'cool' or 'impressive'? Can you do the splits? A handstand? Can you stop trafiic with your 'Disney princess' voice? Or can you sketch to perfection? Shout about it here and let me live vicariously through your amazing skill...

Ooh Mentounasc that sounds nasty - though described with amusing understatement!
Have some Flowers and also Brew at least.
Had your DH washed the floor? Mine thinks ours is done by a fairy but maybe that's saved me from a similar fate

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 03/08/2019 13:01

I am an amazing tap dancer. It's my only talent.

sweetkitty · 03/08/2019 13:03

Sleep for 12 hours non stop.

Ladytron11 · 03/08/2019 13:07

Whistle really loudly with my fingers in mouth. Very useful for gaining the children’s attention from a distance. They recognise the “family whistle”

EggysMom · 03/08/2019 13:19

I can find things that my DH has lost ...

Wombleish · 03/08/2019 13:22

@EggysMom Most women can Grin

bumblebeejockstrap · 03/08/2019 13:32

I can find things that are not in the front row in the fridge aand cupboards.

I, too can eat my weight in chocolate and touch the floor with my palms, stretched legs. Seems you all can, so I need to find something else.

CadburysTastesVileNow · 03/08/2019 13:32

I can change the loo roll. Might not sound like much, but in my house of 4 adults it is apparently a super-power.

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 03/08/2019 13:37

Thigh, I’m not sure the head would be impressed if I taught pole dancing to my Year 1s Grin. I’m also not convinced there’s a pole strong enough.

Why did you think I teach history, thislovelylido? Am I bing spectacularly stupid and missing a joke? It wouldn’t be the first time...

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 03/08/2019 13:38

Being, not bing, obvs.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 03/08/2019 13:46

Matilda don't worry about it!No need to be confused! We are from Thighland and are fluent in talking shit! We've been at it since February! Smile

thislovelylidowithaview · 03/08/2019 13:47

I was just trying to think of an unlikely situation for headstands Matilda, hard to imagine either of my GCSE history teachers doing that!

Herocomplex · 03/08/2019 13:52

I can go from fast asleep in bed to getting the bin to the edge of the kerb in under a minute. Not unrelatedly my heart can beat about 200bpm.

AltogetherAndrews · 03/08/2019 14:24

I can bend the top joint of my fingers without bending the lower joints.
I can roll my eyes back so only the whites are visible. I do both together to look like a zombie and freak my children out.
When I was younger and more flexible, I could light and smoke a cigarette using only my feet. I can still operate the lighter with my toes, but can no longer bend sufficiently to get my mouth with the cigarette near my feet.

What impressive thing can you do?
YesQueen · 03/08/2019 14:35

Pole fitness so I can hang upside down from my thighs despite being a size 16
I can read at over 1500wpm

Luaa · 03/08/2019 21:53

I've just remembered something else I can do that freaks people out. I can hold a cushion or a pole or something in both hands and rotate my arms over my head, down my back and back to the front again without bending my arms at all. I think it's normal, other people think it's weird. I've not explained it well at all!

Luaa · 03/08/2019 21:56

Basically I can do this, but with my hands about shoulder width apart.

Stravapalava · 03/08/2019 22:38

I'm double jointed so I can bend my thumbs, little fingers, big toes and little toes back at funny angles. I can also pop my hips and shoulders out of their sockets. I'm such a catch.

hagsrus0 · 05/08/2019 04:28

I can growl like a cat but it's rough on the throat.
