Can someone recommend me a sling?

Hi, looking for sling suggestions. DS is one week old and we are looking at getting a sling for him. I never used one with my DD so feel totally clueless. Any recommendations would be fab. Many thanks!

Stretchy wrap slings are great for newborns. It's worth finding your local sling library and getting them to give you a demo. Slings are quite personal so it's worth making sure you're both comfy with whatever you choose.

I second a stretchy wrap. We have a boba wrap and use it every day even now my DD is 5 months old. There’s great YouTube videos on how to tie them and they’re easy after a few tries. The close caboo is also very popular but I could never get this tight enough to feel secure

We had a close caboo for the first 4 months, check out tk maxx for slings.

Once my big fatty got uncomfortable in the stretchy sling I bought an ergobaby 360 and a beco Gemini. Both are fantastic.

Close caboo is great, it’s like having a stretchy wrap one but you don’t actually have to learn to wrap which I loved about it

The close caboo is fab. I wish I'd invested in it with my first baby. I can also recommend the Lillebaby sling for when the baby is a bit bigger. It's a soft structured sling, similar to the Ergo.

Highly recommend the Hana wrap- it's one of the best purchases I made. Definitely visit your sling library though and try out the different ones they have.
