*TMI warning* Belly overhang flapping!

Very embarrassed - please does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this happening.

Was going through MIL loft yesterday and found a skipping rope. Was showing DD (4) what to do with it and suddenly became aware of a horrid noise - the sound of my belly overhang slapping against my thighs as I jumped.

I am overweight (size 14-16) and I have been on the large side since child hood. I’ve always had a overhand of one size or another but now at 43 after 2 EMCS in 2 years it is terrible. It has not been improved by recently loosing 2 stone, in fact, it is worse Blush.

Stopped skipping straightaway and am now wondering how I can hold things together for that kind of exercise ( I mainly do walking and cycling) but should be doing more. Anyone come across this problem and have a good solution - would control pants work? Do they do saggy tummy sports bras?

Don’t stop skipping! Your body has given you two children, and it’s not your fault you needed EMCS.
Get some control pants, do some stomach strengthening exercises, but love your body Grin

I noticed my belly slapping against my thighs whilst doing the mountain climber exercise last week Blush I was at home so just in loose joggers. At the gym I wear tighter leggings that hold everything in. Would they work, rather than control pants?

Well done on your weight loss, by the way! Don't stop skipping, it's a great form of exercise Smile
