Perineal refashioning

I am due to have a perineal refashioning soon, and was wondering if anyone who had had this surgery could give me any pointers? The information on the internet seems limited

How long did you have off work? I work in a demanding job, standing for 13 hours. How long before you got back to normal day to day things? Did you need painkillers for long? What about picking up children?

Thanks in advance.

I had this done, my recovery was a bit longer that the 2 weeks they advise as I had an infection. Once that cleared up I went back to work after about 4 weeks, my job is sedentary though.
On the day to day stuff, I took it very easy for the first few weeks and didn’t do any picking up etc.
By the sounds of how your job is, if you can, I’d wait to be completely healed before I went back.

Thank for your replying. I think I will try to take time off until I am fully healed
