Have driving test no.4 in two weeks. What are your top tips? I really want to pass, but i often can let pressure get to me! I failed my last one with a major for clearance but otherwise got only two minors and my examiner was encouraging!
I'm going to try and get loads of practice in over the next two weeks.
Does anyone have any tips on talking to the examiner? In my three previous tests, I have chatted quite a lot as they ask questions but really would prefer to keep all of my head in driving and not talk. I've read that others have talked about their driving - given a running commentary - I think that sounds good but I'm a bit nervous about how they'd respond. My second examiner was really horrible in her manner, kept telling me to hurry up during my manoeuvre even though I was stopping because another car had turned into the road which my instructor had told me definitely to do. She was just unprofessionally irritable I thought - but my third examiner was the loveliest ever but I made a mistake right at the end of my test. What would everyone's top tips be? I wish those tests were easier!
