Can someone help me switch this NEFF hob on? Pic included.

The previous owner passed away so we can't ask her.

You can't see in the pic but the number 9 is flashing and I can get it to not flash. I also can't get the hob to actually heat up at all.
DH Googled the make and serial number which didn't help.
He threw his hands in the air and said "I don't know, you're going to have to ask Mumsnet."

I don't think I can live just in oven foods, I'm not imaginative enough.

I need a hob! Please help me!

If I'm bawking at a £20 pan because we are broke having just moved house - we definitely can't afford £35

However - I did find a converter for £10.95, and got that with my last bit of money. So we won't be stuck eating chips 😆

IKEA does a good set of cheap pans suitable for induction, once you hav a little more money!

I got my induction pans from TK Maxx. Got some really nice Pyrex ones for under a tenner
