Hi, I need two new front tyres for my Nissan Qashqai and I have no idea what to expect cost wise. Anyone have any recent tyre price stories? Thank you.

Tyres do vary a bit, last I bought were £35 a tyre with fitting and disposal. Part worns can be as low as £15 a corner and will often have a good 7-8mm of tread on them.

I buy brand new tyres on eBay and get them fitted at a local garage. I put 2 on my Nissan and it cost me £65. £45 for the two tyres and £20 fitting. Landsail tyres too so not awful tyres

Look at the numbers on the side of your existing tyres e.g 225/45R19, then plug these into a site like blackcircles to get an idea of likely cost. It will vary dramatically depending on brand of tyre.

Don’t go for budget brands but mid range at least. Good tyres are important. As pp said, put the sizes into ats/black circle/whatever then see what comes up.

They are usually sectioned into budget, mid range and premium so it’s easy to differentiate.
