It's the summer holiday season for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day during August I will be bringing you some photos of what the Playmolanders are getting up to this summer.

Holidaymakers are on the ferry to the Isle of Browne

The aeroplane arrives at its destination and the passengers disembark.

The airport is quite busy. Noah and Jonah are loading baggage onto this aeroplane, while Rodd arrives with the refuelling truck.

The passengers arrive in the terminal building.

In baggage reclaim, Louis spots their suitcases on the carousel.

The family are taking a taxi to their destination. Toby the taxi driver loads the luggage into the boot.

love it, can't believe the different amounts of playmobil you have!

I shall be perusing playmo very carefully and maybe go for some seasidey/surfing playmo.

I saw a trailer for the playmo film (refuse to use the word "movie") but it didn't get great reviews. They need you SoMuch.

Arkley and Angela are enjoying a staycation this year. They are having a barbecue in their garden. Ashley and Alice are arguing about whose turn it is to kick the football.

They have now forgotten about the football and Ashley is trying to prod his sister with the barbecue fork. "Be careful!" shouts Angela "or you'll have someone's eye out with that fork!"

Their next door neighbours think a barbecue is a great idea, and invite them round a few days later. Evan and Arkley are cooking the food and drinking beer, while Angela and Elise enjoy a cup of tea.

Alice and Evelyn are drinking juice, and Emerson and Ashley are playing with their bikes.

At the end of the evening, Evan, Elise and their children wave their neighbours goodbye.

Evan washes the plates while Evelyn dries, and Elise and Emerson put the empties in the recycling basket.

Thank you Somuch are they recycling plastic...

At the coastguard rescue station the coastguards are keeping a close eye on surfer Rex, as he clearly has no idea what he is doing, using his surf board the wrong way round.

Sure enough Rex gets into difficulties. Caleb and Leah set off in the rescue boat, while Seth surveys the scene from the coastguard station.
