...and so every day during August I will be bringing you some photos of what the Playmolanders are getting up to this summer.

I love the polling station picture. Wasn't on mn at that point.. feel like I've missed so much. I joined in 2011

The first Royal wedding we did was in 2011. But in those days you couldn't post photos directly into the thread, so I put them all on my profile. But now you don't seem to be able to click onto my profile and see the photos any more. I don't know why, as I haven't removed them myself.

Anyway, back to Playmoland! Today, Iolo, Bethan, Sion and Delyth with Spotty the dog, arrive at the campsite with their caravan.

After they arrive and unpack, they enjoy a cool drink. Spotty has a bowl of water. Sion is keen to get to the swimming pool and already has his water wings on.

Later, they have a barbecue. Iolo is barbecuing the meat, while Bethan heats some beans on the camping stove. Sion is spraying Delyth with insect repellent.

Iolo bears a striking resemblance to Del, one of the main characters in the Playmobil movie. He has the same hair and shirt, but long blue trousers and shoe instead of shorts and sandals.

Ianto and Gwydion are camping in a tent, with their dog Patch. Ianto gets some apple juice out of the electric coolbox.

Gwydion plays on his scooter while Ianto reads a magazine.

Arwel, Enfys and Ceinwen are also camping in a tent. Arwel and Ceinwen play Frisbee while Enfys looks at the map. Sooty, one of the campsite cats wanders along.

In the evening, Arwel cooks some food on the camping stove, while Enfys finds the plates and cups.

I love Spotty. He's my favourite playmo character to date. (But I still need Playmo cats)

Love the Welsh names!

The Welsh (and other language) names have been necessary as we are running out of names (especially for men/boys as ds had quite a few male dominated themes such as construction, police, fire, pirates).

I am rather hoping to see some Poldark (Playdark?) names. Not because I like the TV series (I don't, I think it is an aberration) but because I love Winston Graham's books.

Where are Ross, Demelza, Jud, Prudie, Morwenna, Valentine, Ursula, Jacky, Julia, Jeremy and Clowance?

Ross is Bossy Ross, one of Norman's mates!

Valentine is one of the redcoats in our pirates theme.

Jeremy is an airline pilot, and Julia was the woman in the hammock on 18th August!

And Ursula is a witch from one of the Figures series.

Perhaps we could have a children's world cup beachball/football Olympics or scout jamboree so characters from all over could get together

Today Wyn arrives at the campsite on his motorbike.

After he pitches his tent and unpacks, he cooks a sausage over the campfire for lunch. A little mole pops up out of its hole.

In the evening, his friend Trent arrives, and they enjoy a barbecue.

At the campsite shower block, Sion is going for a shower.

Arwel and Ceinwen are doing the washing up.

And Enfys is putting the recycling in the bin.

I am glad to know that Enfys has been inspired by the original outdoor eco-warriors from Wimbledon Common and is recycling. I hope the sausages are being properly cooked.
