...and so every day during August I will be bringing you some photos of what the Playmolanders are getting up to this summer.

I am currently on holiday in France. Today we went to the supermarket and the first thing I did was check out the Playmobil section! I was tempted by a Playmobil wedding for DD —me— but DH put me off. I did get a small seamstress figurine set though.

Sunshine, all my friends and family who are on FB know I have done the scenes, as I have also posted an album on my FB page. And petalpower (who has posted on this thread) isn't on FB but is a RL friend, so she know too.

Well, I've seen the film, and all I can say is that the Playmo people in it move an awful lot faster than ours do! There was lots of action, quite a lot of fight scenes. My Playmoland is a much more gentle place!

Also, can't believe that one of the main characters Del is almost the same as this existing playmo person!

The lifeguards on the beach today are Imogen and Kobi.

Jaime is at the beach, surfing.

Father Christmas isn't too busy at this time of year, so he is taking a break and enjoying some surfing too.

Tabitha and Ren arrive at the beach.

Ren is going snorkelling, while Tabitha sits on the beach, listening to the radio.

A bit later, Marrit and Talita arrive for a game of beach volleyball.

Robinson has been fishing, and the seagulls are interested in what he has caught.

I have been SoMuch’s RL friend for many years and can confirm she has been into Playmobil for most of that time! I have seen Norman the Foreman in the flesh (plastic??) too :)

I'm so glad Ren actually put his snorkel on. I'd been trying to work out why he was carrying a toilet seat/potty

I'm glad father Christmas gets a holiday, he works very hard at Christmas so he deserves a break

Thank you all! The surfing Santa was one of the Figures blind bag series (although we got quite good at feeling what was in the bags so we got the figures we actually wanted! ).
