Summer toe nails for beginners.

I've never been to a nail salon, or had my nails done. Sometimes I might dab a bit of nail polish on. Badly.
I fancy getting my toes done for the holidays only. But I don't know the lingo or where to start. My toes also look a bit battered and moth eaten.

Where on earth do I start? I don't want to go somewhere where anyone is being exploited and I don't know what I want other than shiny colourful toe nails.

You just want a pedicure. You could get a gel pedicure if you want it to last for ages.

You could book one through the app Treatwell, or just find a local beauty salon. They'll have lots of colours for you to choose from.

Don't forget to wear flip flops if you're getting normal polish (as opposed to gels) so that you don't smudge it on the way home.

Enjoy! I love having my feet done!

Get a pedicure and ask for shellac/gel polish. It will last a long time. I can normally go 2-3 weeks before it looks bad and grown out. Sometimes longer

If I had a gel pedicure would I need to go back to have it taken off?
Thanks!
Do they mind sad looking feet?

Sad looking feet are their business!

You would either need to go back and get them to take it off, or you can soak it off at home if you buy some special remover from Boots/Superdrug. It's a bit fiddly though as you have to soak it for about 20 minutes.

Thanks! I may take the plunge then. If I'm brave enough!
