Have any of you ever been on a cruise? I have an 8 year old and 6 year old and wondered if there was one that might suit us. Ideally one from Southampton or nearby so we wouldn’t have to fly.

We went on the MSC cruises from Southampton, my nephew was 8, they have a few kids clubs catering to different ages, he loved them. Barely wanted to spend any time with is though, he wanted to spend it all with his new friends. Lol

Cruises are fantastic for the whole family! We've done several. There are a vast array of options, cruise lines, cabins, itineraries and so on. I would suggest you call a cruise specialist agent like Bolsover who can talk you through. P&O are pretty unbeatable imo, on one of the big ships, Britannia, Azura or Ventura. Kids facilities are amazing. Everything is in sterling and drinks prices are reasonable.

Thank you! Someone I know is very keen on them but my husband is a bit resistant.

Most resisters are easily converted Smile

Most resisters are easily converted I wasn’t. I think it’s a love it/hate it thing. But I can absolutely see why other people love them.
