Aldeburgh- things to do

Am thinking of going to Aldeburgh for the weekend to try out the famous fish and chips. Is there enough to do there for a long weekend with young teens if it rains?

Not really.
There is a small cinema.
Visit Benjamin Britten ‘s house.
The Long Shop Museum st Leiston
Southwold (a bit of a drive ).

N Yorks
Lovely Roman village

Fish and chips lovely
Take boat out on mere st Thorpeness ( walkable)
Ice creams - several really nice places
Kayaking/canoes/ paddle boarding at Snape/ Iken ( 10 mins away by car ) Try Iken Canoes
Cinema at Aldeburgh also the Aldeburgh summer theatre is on until late August
Southwold ( 30 mins max by car) great Pier
Woodbridge also About 30 mins also has cinema and is nice to mooch around
Sutton Hoo
Easton Farm Park
Orford and doughnuts at the Pump Street Bakery

Raining needs a bit more imagination but it rarely rains here !!!
