I am a week post surgery and not allowed to drive as a result for the next few weeks.
I am a single parent, have a 22 month old and a very yappy pampered dog who has just returned from her lovely holiday with the dog walker whilst I was in hospital. Oh and I am a teacher so on school holidays.
I am SO BORED (and also tired and grumpy). I don't know what to do to entertain the child as the weather is so shite, been to the park in between the rain as many times as I can bear in without doing damage to the wounds from surgery, she's not in nursery because of the holidays. All the dog has done is shout at me since she returned from her lovely stay away. I am literally counting down the hours til bed time.
Please can someone suggest something (anything?) I can do to entertain the child between now and dinner time. Preferably something that doesn't involve much mess (had to bend down and clear stuff up).
