9 week old's rash

Jittery second time mum to a 9 week old. Noticed a rash on him today and after giving him a bath I've slapped some Child's Farm on him. He's not teething yet as far as I'm aware. It's on his face and neck but nowhere else

I think at 9 weeks I'd get him checked out just to be on the safe side.

Has he had anything damp on like a bib or a muslin?

Other possibility would be a post viral rash but that would usually be on his tummy/back. Has he been under the weather at all?

Hope you're okay. It's so easy to worry.

He's been a bit sicky today with his milk so his baby grows have been perpetually damp, maybe it's that then? I've left a message with my health visitor.

Thank you for your lovely reply, I've been struggling with anxiety for a long time

Honestly, I'd put money on it being the dampness. That's the sort of rash he'll get when he does start teething (from the extra saliva).

You're doing a great job. If he seems unwell at all, crying incessantly or high temperature, then ring 111 for advice.

Sending love x
