Instagram, why the need to use it like a diary?

For instance Stacey Solomon, (I'm sure she is lovely, she seems it) put a video up on Instagram about her 1st date with Joe since the baby, yet instead of just enjoying her date or whatever put a video up!

She's obviously not the only one, is it narcissistic tendencies that make folk famous or not document their every moment on social media?

I deleted Facebook a long time ago and used to enjoy the simplicity of Instagram until the video capability came a long.

Is it a platform to raise awareness or a persons need to be liked/relevant or whatever? Are we all really that nosey? Hmm

I often think this, but people obviously like watching it, as doing loads of stories and documenting absolutely everything does seem to get you more followers.
