Harry potter and cursed child

So we may have to not go on holiday next week as my mum is in hospital.

I was trying to think of a treat to make up for it and I thought fuck it I'll do HP. We fortunately wont have to pay for the holiday so i can afford it - just.

I can get tickets for next Wednesday both shows £125 each.

Bit it's in the stalls? What would the view be like? Is it worth that much?

I haven't seen The Cursed Child specifically, but stalls seats are generally the better seats in most theatres. Have a look here for specifics: seatplan.com/london/palace-theatre/

We had a seat in the rear stalls and view was fine. They also have booster seats for kids that you can ask for.

We really enjoyed it, it's very well done. And our junior Harry Potter fan thought it was amazing.

Stalls are usually the best seats in the house - dress circle front row is good for ballet, less so for theatre IMO. So you've done well to find stalls seats this close to the performance date.

The view, especially at the end of Part 1, will be good - it's a well-banked theatre, so fairly clear views from most stalls seats.

If you go here seatplan.com/london/palace-theatre/ you should be able to see views from most seats

HP and the cursed child is brilliant we saw it in the grand circle and missed parts of the show as people lent forward. If you can afford it then stall seats will be brilliant. Also make reservations for somewhere to eat before you go as the area was really busy.

We were near the back of the stalls and had a good view. We thought being further back was actually better as you couldn't see the wires and such for the magic so it was all the more impressive and unimpressive.

I'd read the script beforehand and wasn't impressed, but I loved the actual play. Enjoy, and wishing your mum a quick recovery.

*Impressive and unexpected.

Hmm

Agree with pp it is a brilliant show. Can't help re the stalls as we were close to the front in the dress circle and the view was excellent. We paid about the same as you so I would expect those seats would be good too.

We had dim sum in china town between shows, was a fab day out.

Hope your mum is better soon.
