I joined VM last year when I moved into my flat. I was moving in with my then boyfriend so he took the contract in his name. We've since split and I've got the house and I just set up a standing order to pay him until the contract was up so I didn't have to pay an exit fee.
Now my contract is up and the price is jumping from £29 to £52. So I was wondering if I cancel the contract in my exes name then sign up again in my own name with my own payment details would I be eligible for first time customer deals again? Or would they not allow that?
Sorry if this is a daft question, it's my first time living alone and dealing with all these things and just want to get a good deal for myself.
