Birthday present angst - help this idiot out, please!

Its my birthday in the next couple of months. Last night, my lovely boyfriend of just over a year asked me what i would like as a present. He is actually very very good at presents, so even if i come up with nothing, i trust him! Last year he bought me an experience that i absolutely loved.

What i would really like is a bracelet. I had a lovely silver bracelet that i lost at Christmas, and i really like wearing bracelets, so i thought of asking for a replacement. I absolutely dont want anything very expensive (actually this is a lie - i want a diamond tennis bracelet but i would never ever even hint at that!!!), but a nice silver bracelet isn't going to be too expensive, is it?

Does this sound like a reasonable thing to suggest? He is so lovely and so generous, and i don't want to look greedy or like i am taking advantage of him.

I'd tell him you miss the bracelet you lost and then give him some little, cheaper alternatives. It'll be up to him what he can afford then.

A silver bracelet can be bought from around £30 (and obviously a lot more) so as long as you don't suggest a brand it isn't grabby.
