I posted a little earlier regarding teen struggling with using a tampon and asking for tips from the wise Mumsnet community. The first response I got was that I must be a pervert looking for thrills! Mumsnet’s collective wisdom has taught me so much over the years - it just seemed a natural place to ask such a question.
Anyway, a kind poster gave me a link to some leakproof swimwear - something I had no idea existed. This will be the ideal solution and I just wanted to share with other parents who are struggling with teens/periods/swimming at this time of year...

It’s not a cheap option (£31.50 for bikini bottoms) but may save some disappointment in not being able to go swimming.
