Things are pretty shit for us right now, serious health problems etc. To save a bit of money we got rid of DH new car and bought a 2nd hand older one.
Within days an engine light came on and it's a big fault, after a few messages between who he bought it from, he is now ignoring us. This has been going on for 3 weeks now.
We have followed the Which advice and sent them a letter asking for them to pay the repair bill, as yet no response. The car urgently needs the work to be done but I'm worried if we pay for it, then we won't ever get the money back. Car is booked in to a garage on Saturday.
Could really do without this at the moment, we're struggling to make ends meet and I think DH will have to give up work soon due to his health. DH is meant to have no stress and this is the last thing he needs.
I don't know what to do! Any help or advice would really be appreciated. Thank you.
