I have a just turned 1 year LB, he goes to nursery 4 days per week as i work 5 days in 4 days and when he gets home he doesn't let me put him down i try to put some toys for him to play with on the floor and try to creep out of the room to go to the toilet and have my 3 year old play with him. Or I pop him in the play pen and have her sing to him whilst I make tea, my husband works away for a living so its mainly just us 3. as soon as he notices Im missing he screams blue murder until im back, its the same at night i will get him to sleep in my arms and pop him in his bed once he is asleep around 8pm when he wakes in the night and notices im not there or hes not in my bed the screaming starts again I dont know what I can do to stop this and wonder if anyone had any tips as its really starting to upset me

You poor thing. That sounds incredibly hard. What is he like at nursery? Could you co-sleep if partner is away a lot? Just thinking for your mental health at least you would both sleep then.

I would just take him to the toilet and have him in bed, he’s only one.

Ah poor little boy and obviously extremely tough on you too mom. I would most definitely co sleep. He may be going through separation anxiety. It's a phase he will grow out of it

Thank you so much, at nursery he doesn't get picked up that much I really didnt want to co sleep because its nice to have that space for yourself and he will start to think my bed is his bed and it would be hard to get him back into his own bed but i think its looking like that now
