Hi gorgeous ladies!
I am 36 week pregnant with 1st baby
I have one concerned regarding shaving or waxing bikni areas before going into labour, is it necessary to remove hair and when to remove it because not sure when you are gonna go in labour, it's kind of embarrassing to have so many hair while being examined or delivering the baby. HelpHmm

Do what you normally do. I don’t shave or wax and though I ended up having a section I wouldn’t have started to.
Believe me whether you are hairy or not down there is the least of their concerns!

Speaking as a midwife I can assure you that we have so much running through our minds at all times, your pubic hair doesn't even come close to registering. Do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

When you're in labour you're not going to give a flying fuck what your bikini line looks like and the midwives won't either, I promise.

I didn't look at mine for about 9 months after giving birth either

Oh, congratulations Thanks

It's literally the least of your worries when your in labour so just do whatever you would do normally to make you feel like yourself .
I would recommend not doing too much shaving as you'll be sore enough already down there so you might not want the added pleasure of shaving rash !

In the nicest possible way, your pubic hair is the least of your potential "embarrassments" in labour. Honestly, when the time comes, you really won't give a shit.

It's not embarrassing to have pubic hair.

Defintely don't add shaving rash and stubble regrowth itch into the post partum recovery mix. ShockWink
