No, I'd continue to look and put offers in on other properties until exchange has taken place. These things have a horrible habit of falling through.

I'm still looking after having found a house I'm really happy with but not so often as before Grin

We live in quite a small place where all the estate agents know each other....but I have found one with a view and south west facing garden. I'm tempted.....

I would stay on as you never know, lots of deals are falling through. Your vendors may change their minds, you may change your minds after surveys and searches.
I looked up right move daily up to completion and then moved to looking occasionally just for fun.

About the new house. It’s tricky if it’s a small place. I would check as much as possible by myself before asking to view: floor plan, all photos, google map, council website for possible planning permissions. I would drive near by several times and even buy their deeds. When we were house hunting last years I did a table with distances important for us and did a list of possible jobs for each house we viewed. It helped me a lot to compare.
