Digital radio purchase help please!

Dull thread!

I love listening to my radio. I often read about radio programmes on bbc that I have missed it would like to listen to but won’t be around when they’re on.

What feature do I need in my radio in order to be able to select the programme and listen as a catch up?

If it's BBC programmes you could use the Sounds app.

I don’t think you can really buy a radio to do that. You are better off getting a Bluetooth speaker and doing it via your phone really.

I had a digital radio, used the majority of the features much less than I thought I would. Replaced it with an echo dot, this was a game changer in being able to listen to exactly what I wanted I just Alexa and she finds it.

I have a number of Google Homes. I just say ‘play Desert Island Discs on BBC radio 4’ and she does.
