Ryanair
Thomas Cook

OP posts:
WiseUpJanetWeiss · 28/07/2019 20:19

Good thread.

Airtours
Dan Air (had forgotten they existed til I read a PP’s list!)
Britannia
Olympic
Thomas Cook
Delta
Virgin Airlines
Virgin Blue
Easyjet
Jet 2
Ryanair
Monarch
TAP
Iberia
Lufthansa
Emirates
Quantas
Air New Zealand
Blue Air
TUI

Emirates were head and shoulders above the rest. TAP were pretty shoddy. Lufthansa left my case in Manchester for three days, but did cheerfully stump up for half the price of some walking shoes, shorts and underwear for my alpine walking week :)

And more that I can't really remember at the moment! Prefer to stick to star alliance when possible

BarbaraofSeville · 28/07/2019 20:31

More than you but a lot less than Janet, upnorth and 0101.

CBA to remember though.

It may or may not be a point of note that the only time I've been to France, the Netherlands or Belgium is while in transit on connecting flights on the way to somewhere else.

To be fair jersey European is Flybe.

Also flew on a very old virgin plane from LTN-DUB in 85 or 86 was a Ryanair flight. Think it was a Viscount

Vinorosso74 · 28/07/2019 20:41

In recent years mostly Easyjet! I honestly can't remember them all. Pre parenthood DP and I did a fair few trips abroad. There's some airlines I went on as a kid but can't remember all. I do remember a Yugoslavian airline and Britannia.

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/07/2019 20:42

Absolutely loads, from BA to tiny float plane companies and scary providers in majority world countries. I'd say maybe 30 airlines. Maybe more.

Oh and Malaysian Airways, quite a few times. One of my favourites.

And Gulf, although I wish I hadn't - there was a very angry man sat behind me for 8 hours. He had very bony knees and kept jabbing me in the back with them.

Alarmclockstop · 28/07/2019 21:25

Loads (including good old monarch 😉) the only one I don't like is Ryanair although for the price I suck it up. Favourite budget is freebird Turkish airline.
