Whatcha doin' today?

The girls stayed up late, and so, are still sleeping so I'm enjoying a cup of tea, in silence apart from the little bird on my fence.

We were going to a local festival thing on a park, but it piddled it down all yesterday & looks like more of the same today so it'll be muddy & wet.

Instead I think I might help dd1 come up with an idea for her "grow your pounds" challenge, and dd2 to do part of one of the Brownies badges.

And we might clear out dd1's bedroom, since we deep cleaned dd2's on Friday.

Not very exciting really but will stop us getting bored.

Been to the gym this morning. Going to make breakfast, have a shower and probably take a nap.
This afternoon will be tidying, laundry and maybe a cinema trip if dd is around.

Just an easy morning. Still in my PJs and no plan to get dressed yet. Will be going to my grandparents house with DS and DP this afternoon, seeing my aunt before she goes home (she lives abroad).

DP works this evening, so just normal routine with toddler and then hopefully some time to relax.

Swimming lesson with older 2, then fiid shopping then birthday party then home to make the roast dinner. We rarely have roasts but I really fancied one. So we've got a lovely slab of beef and all the trimmings. .

DP is on cleaning duty.

It’s pouring down here. So taking DD to work, shopping then cooking a curry for tea, lasagna for the freezer. Collect DD and take other DD to work.

Sitting with a cuppa while the rest of the family sleeps on. I might take neighbour's dog for a walk in a mo. Got to go to work, unusually, this afternoon, then family friends over with their teens in the evening.

Painting the skirting boards and touching up a few walls, out for dinner tonight

Its my last day of my holiday so will do a bit of housework. DH is doing some ribs on the bbq for dinner and son is playing on his xbox as the weather is not great today.

Well, they're still sock-on so I'm going to enjoy a coffee in silence too!
