Hi all I'm a young mother and I have just completed my PhD at Oxford University alongside raising my son, I have recently had a dream job offer abroad and I am unsure whether or not to do it, does anyone else have any experience of moving abroad with young children thanks in advance

we took our 3 children (oldest was 9) to live in Europe over 40 years ago.
They went to a local school for two years but changed to an International school when we realised that we may go back to Uk at some point and we wanted them to keep up with a Uk curriculum.
We're all here 40 years later and the children (who are now adults) see it as the best move we ever made.

I've moved with a 3 year old to study abroad. The plan was to be away for 1 year - we stayed for 6.

If it's a great job and there are no concerns about the country itself, then you should absolutely do it. It's a very enriching experience for everyone!
