Wondering after a previous thread about an OP's DP wanting her to meet his DC after 7 weeks.
I've been with DP eleven months now and beginning to talk about eventually living together and a timeline.
I have one DC (14 months) who has already met DP because they're a baby and don't get the implications. He probably spends 2-4 days a month on outings with me and DC when I can't get a babysitter. They got on well, as much so as a baby gets on with anyone.
DP has been separated from his ex for 16 months. Has two DC, 3 and 6. I've actually met the 3 year old accidentally a number of times because him and my DC are in the same 12 week mummy and me music class that DP's ex enrolls him and their nanny in. It actually took a long while to click that this was my DP's DC because I just assumed the nanny was mum. Haven't met the six year old at all, obviously they're older and more in tune with big changes like this.
So when did you meet your DP's DC? And what suggestion would you have for a timeline?
