Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant for a 'special occasion' type dinner in the city centre-ish area? Well, actually, anywhere that is easy to get to on the LUAS line would do!

Thank you

Some of our favourite 'occasion' restaurants:

Le Bon Crubeen on Talbot Street - an easy walk from either Abbey Street or Connolly Luas stop (red line).

Ely Bar & Grill - just round the corner from George's Dock Luas stop (red line).

The Gallery restaurant at The Church on Mary Street, an easy walk from either Jervis Street (red line) or O'Connell Street (GPO) (green line) Luas stops.

These are all northside options - I daresay a southsider might come along with some choices for south of the river! Grin

PrincessMonacoOfKent thank you so much, those all look great. I had been googling madly earlier and all I could come up with were things (on the southside naturally) at €100 per head before wine and although it's a special occasion it's not that special Grin. We're staying on the northside, which is a first for us, so I'm not all that familiar with that side of town, so these recommendations are great.
