A shark.
I have a cordless shark and it is the best thing ever.

Soola · 27/07/2019 14:36

Get a furminator as well

Herefortheduration · 27/07/2019 15:01

I have a Shark, one which states it's for peta, it is brilliant.

Herefortheduration · 27/07/2019 15:02

**for pets

DramaAlpaca · 27/07/2019 15:04

Miele Cat & Dog. If it can cope with everything two spaniels & a cat throw at it, it'll cope with a lab Grin

Postmanbear · 27/07/2019 15:07

Miele cat and dog is excellent. Corded though so I’m currently looking for a cordless to do a daily once over downstairs

MaisyMary77 · 27/07/2019 15:09

Miele Cat & Dog. I’ve got 2 labs & 2 cats, a degu & a tortoise... (not sure the tortoise is relevant but it sometimes feels like I live in a zoo)

Rivkka · 27/07/2019 15:09

Anything literally anything that's not a Dyson. Worst and yes ironically worst vacuum I've ever owned

MaisyMary77 · 27/07/2019 15:12

I also have a dyson cordless which is great for just whizzing around with a couple of times a day but it is nowhere near as good as the Miele and I’m constantly unblocking the head.

Bananalanacake · 27/07/2019 15:21

Ooh, can I ask the same question please, rather than starting my own as I also need help with this. My AEG which I've had for only 2 years has stopped sucking anything up, not even crumbs and hair, and it cuts off every 5 minutes as it overheats, it didn't used to do that. My DP thinks it's buggered cos I use it in the kitchen for food, but I get the big bits of food up first so nothing too big. I want one where you can easily pull out the hose attachment to get in the corners. No pets, just girls who eat biscuits.

FairyFestival · 27/07/2019 15:24

Cordless shark. Get the pet one with 2 batteries.

Iamblossom · 27/07/2019 15:46

Yeah don't want a corded one or a drag along, so shark looks favourite

Another Shark fan here!

I have the cordless liftaway true pet model which has a 50 minute battery run time.

FAB!

DramaAlpaca · 27/07/2019 16:09

Banananacake I wonder if yours has a blockage somewhere. Could you get it serviced?

Bananalanacake · 28/07/2019 22:51

Drama: thanks, you were right. today my dp showed the filter to mil. (she seems to be our cleaning expert) then he found a second, secret filter we hadn't seen before and it was filthy. so hopefully that was the problem.
