Water usage - how can this be right?!

So we pay a flat rate for our water. We pay a metered rate for our waste water. We have no idea where this meter is.

We got the waste bill yesterday. This time last year we were using about 80 litres a day. Apparently we are now using 320 a day. There are 2 of us and a baby.
Does this sound right to you?! Their scale only seems to go up to 400! I'm aghast.
For reference- we both have 1 shower a day, DS has a bath.

I just cant believe we have increased our usage so much?!

Just checked our water bill, 2 adults and a baby. Baby baths every day and we shower, I also like a bath myself normally once to twice a week. We have a washing machine and dishwasher. I am still on mat leave so lots of loo flushing and kettle filling! We use 253 litres on average. Apparently the average family of 3 uses 370 litres!

80 litres sounds stupidly low, way too low unless you are out all day and just get in quick shower and straight to bed!

Our meters are just outside the boundary of the property on the pavement small metal cover in the ground that can be lifted up to see the dial.

If they never knock on the door to reas the meter yours must be outside too.
