Help! Is there anything I can do?

I cancelled a booking not knowing it was non-refundable because I'm disabled and my driver (my DH, not my chauffeur) can't drive because he fell down and broke his leg. Is there anything I can do? I'm panicking. :(

Depends what type of booking.
I used to work in the hotel industry and usually out of human decency we would refund but once the manager did make us ask for hospital records or a letter from doctor to have money refunded.

I would definitely look into it.

They may just turn around and say ‘find another way to arrive at booking’ some people really are jobsworths!
