Urgent help needed - anyone got a Citroen C4 Tourer?

Hi

Picked up a hire car yesterday, to return to Heathrow tomorrow morning. Will fit the luggage in but it’d be a lot easier with two of the back seats folded down. Have watched “helpful” videos which seem to suggest pulling the black fabric strap on the side of the seat and pushing the headrest down but no joy. Any ideas, please?

Assuming you mean Spacetourer, is there a red strap attached to the 2 back seats that you can pull?

There’s a black strap on the side of the seat, which I’m pulling to no avail. Prob same as Picasso - no idea :).

Sorry can't be more helpful. Ours has a red strap on the bottom of the seat part (as opposed to the seat back, if that makes sense) that you slightly pull towards you and then push down on the seat back so it clicks into the space

Brilliant. The YouTube video said pull down and I was trying all versions of that. Went out just now to take a photo as per idea above, pulled the black strap out horizontally and ... it worked! Thanks Mumsnet :). (Don’t know how to put it back, but that’s Avis’ problem :).
