Passport enquiry?

Just a enquiry if anyone can help.

I am applying for my daughter's first passport. I have filled the form out how I should, all details are correct, in black ink and in capitals, however I have just picked up the form from our countersignature, got home and realised a lot on her part wasn't written in capitals.
Will they send it back too me?
Will it be void?
Shall I do another form and sit with her this time?
Thank you in advance :)

You could use the post office check and send service and they will tell you if it needs redoing.

Get the countersignatory's email address and do the application online. Its cheaper than doing it by post

Lndnmummy · 26/07/2019 18:43

Yes, I would. They are pretty picky and it might cause delays.

You can’t apply online for baby’s first passport

dementedpixie · 26/07/2019 18:46

The notes say it needs to be in capitals

@Lndnmummy you can - I checked last week

Mumma2be7727 · 26/07/2019 18:54

Apologies for saying alot - just looked through again and seen that the whole form is done in capitals and done correctly, it's just there is three F's and a P on the form that, how she has done them, they look like they are little.

I'd still do it online. Works about about £10 cheaper

Really! Clearly we missed a trick then. We had to do one of the appointment/fast track things when we did ds2 last week (it arrived today). The lady at the passport office said to my dh you can’t do it online. X
