Help finding a stupid giraffe toy??

Sigh. I have a friend whose adult son is very attached to a giraffe toy/rattle she first found at an op shop years ago. She was lucky to find another a few years ago as it is his favorite toy/thing to hold.

Due to his disabilities she is very careful about what toys he can have as he places items in his mouth and she's found this toy to be quite hardy and he loves that it also has the rings for noise etc.

Ive been trying to find some online to surprise them with but i'm not having much luck, i found a site in Egypt which had a picture of one but they do not deliver to Australia. I just thought i'd ask if any one who might have a better grasp of searching for things online might be able to help me track one down!

OP, I've had a look but have also only been able to find the Egyptian site that you found, selling that giraffe rattle (and a camel version which I'm coverting).

Bumping in case anyone recognises the image and has one stashed in their loft.

Why is it a stupid toy?
It's a funskool one I think. If you try googling Funskool baby giraffe rattle there are a number of hits. Or you could try contacting the company directly.

Oh I hope you can find one - other posters just helped me track down a random little seal for my son who has ASD and he’s thrilled. Bumping for you :)

There is a Facebook page called little blue cup that specialises in finding these type of toys or comforters for people with ASN etc. Try asking there?

It a funskool giraffe rattle/teether we used to have a green one in the home corner where I used to work. Hopefully that helps narrow down the search.

There is one on amazon.com but shipping to oz is $22. The design has changed a bit

I don’t think it is the Funskool one. Unless they’ve updated their design. Maybe he would be okay with one of those, but I know he would really want the same one.

A reverse image search only shows the Egyptian site you mentioned, I guess that’s where you got the stock photo? I trawled through similar images but no joy.

I’d definitely try the Facebook group mentioned above.

It looks like they have indeed updated the design. Your best option is to contact Funskool and see if they have any old stock as it appears the only place selling the old version is countries like Asia and Egypt. I really hope you manage to track him down.
