having bought oodles of sample pots of little greene paint finally settled on invisible green for the kitchen. it feels like masses of money... anyhoo my worry now is that i chose the wrong finish! the colour doesn't look as deep as in the samples. chosen finish is intelligent eggshell traditional low sheen.... (going on quite high sheen!!!). I'm painting onto a fairly dark previous colour too, so i don't think it's an undercoat type issue.
is it because the samples are flat matt - have i just made a really expensive mistake or will the colour change still for a while?

I'd give it a good 24 hours to dry in thid humidity and re assess.

The colour will change a bit as it goes on to a large area. We did Slaked Lime on to a magnolia wall and I swore I could still see the magnolia for ages. No one else can.

The paint look very purple going on but has settled as a very pale grey when finished and dried.

Lighting makes a massive difference too. under sunlight compared to lightbulbs can lead to a massive change in colour... So maybe daylight bulbs will help too?

I don’t think it was the light per se. Deliberately tried the samples on different walls for a couple of days...

Invisible green is a super colour. Have you looked at Pompeian Ash? It’s my favourite of their greens, used it in our kitchen and it works so well. Paired with F&B Strong White.

Sorry ignore that, misread the part where this wasn’t the finish of the samples you were looking, but the final colour. It’s great paint.
