Children's glasses

Which glasses do your children have
Dd needs spec. One eye is more of a problem than the other.
The heavier specs that seem to be trending at the moment slide down her nose and she seems to break them easily
She had a great pair of flexi ones but they don't seem to be available now
So any suggestions gratefully received

Can't help with specific frames but do not get ones with the rubber bits on the nose - I walked around for years with massive red marks where they rubbed all the time!

Can you get them adjusted? If you’re in the UK and adjustments or replacements or fixing of the glasses is free. They should also get two pairs at a time so if one breaks there is a spare while they get replaced.

We just went to the opticians and tried them on? They adjusted them and said if they are slipping to take them back and they will adjust again.

We have a lovely Boots with a good selection of glasses so DD just sees what she likes.

They adjust when we get them and we normally go back around after 4-5 months to get them re-adjusted. I found DD's glasses get loose faster than mine or DH's.

I think you can only get one pair on the NHS unless you go to brands like Specsavers who do a second pair free for children. Saying that when DD broke her glasses the optician had the same model there and just swapped the lenses. I think you have one replacement free per year.

The vouchers give you a replacement for lost or broken or not able to adjust ones
They used to do memory flex ones
