Started induction

Was given prostin gel at 12.45 and feel a bit of pressure but nothing else really. Wonder what next step is

Things could still kick off. I had Propess at 4pm. Midwife was adamant nothing was happening, even when I told her I was having painful contractions every 1-2 minutes. I was still 2cm at 10pm, then suddenly was 4cm at 10.45pm, and within about an hour I was 9cm... I then had EMCS, but suspect I'd have delivered vaginally fairly promptly if I hadn't gone to theatre!

If you don't progress, then depending on the clinical situation, they may break your waters, and/or put the induction drip up. If they put the drip up you may wish to ask for an epidural, as your contractions may quickly become strong and painful.
