Hi! About to move soonish to a ground floor flat. Maybe a stupid question but will I have a loft or not? Thank you!

If you do, its called a bungalow.

You may have storage, but its unlikely to be situated above you.

No you almost certainly won’t. Unless it’s a one story building and there’s no one above you?

My ground floor flat has a loft. It has high ceilings and the hallway and bathroom ceilings have been lowered, creating loft space.

A loft would be very unusual, but cellar space isn't unusual in older buildings. How dry or damp it is does, however, vary

Unlikely. Sure you want ground floor - I couldn’t open windows at night .....

I used to live in a ground floor flat in a tenement building, there was a loft above the top floor and we had a cupboard under the stairs (which we owned).
