Alternative to Fit Flops for Plantar Fasciitias

I've been trying to find some decent shoes for my holiday. There will be alot of walking around.

I normally wear Fit Flop trainers, but its going to be hot. I bought some fit flop flip flops but they were so uncomfortable with the toe bits.

Are there any other good alternatives which are a bit nicer looking?

Birkenstocks? Earth spirit? Or Skechers with arch support. I found Earth Spirit the only summer sandals I could wear when my PF was bad...

I don't think Birkenstocks are a great option for lots of walking, they give me blisters on the soles of my feet. Fitflops do a huge range these days, have they all got toebars?

Merrill or Teva sandals have decent arch support which might help. I am on my second pair of Columbia sandals. The are supportive and have an adjustable strap over the front of the foot which accommodates my very narrow feet. I can walk miles in them.

Have a look at those three. Merrill and Teva are wider fit in my experience.

They're really comfy with their suede footbed but look great as well (given that ugly shoes are still 'in').

My plantar fasciitis is helped by taking the 12 hour ibuprofen or one paracetamol and one ibuprofen together every 4 hours. That works for my 12 hour shifts. I wear skechers go walks.

The only thing that's helped my PF has been foot and calf massage, every single morning.

I wear Birkenstock's in the summer (which I think is what aggravated the PF in the first place, but the massage has made it go away).

@daffydowndilys I was going to recommend those sketches - I had them for Disney and they are fab.

I have those Skechers sandals in black with black sole and they are so so comfy.

I had vicious plantar fasciitis fro about 8 months in both feet.
Birkenstocks or those Adidas slides that are really soft were the best for my feet. Birkenstocks take a few wears before they mould to your foot properly and can be a bit uncomfortable at first.

Never go barefoot.
I got rid of it by being obsessive about massaging the fascia on the outer side of the shin with a rolling pin, and crunching my foot together as hard as I could on the couch every night - about 100 bloody times on each foot. Plus a few standing on toes type exercises.Frozen water bottles were a godsend too, as were those spiky Pilates balls to roll your foot over.
It's the nastiest thing but mine's been gone for over a year now.

I couldn't wear my Bikies when I had plantar fasciitis. I did wear Sketchers and the sandals are just as squishy and comfortable. I was eyeing some in the shops yesterday. these look comfy So are these
