Tall men are big fat effing bastards

On tube this morning a 6ft wanker stood in right in front of the open window in between the carriages, blocking all the cool breeze coming in from the tunnel. He literally took up the WHOLE window. EnvyAngryNow there"s another tosspot standing in front of the window on my way home, with 2 or 3 more hovering around to take his place if he leaves. Why do they so this? Are they completely incapable of thinking of others??

I notice when women stand in front of the window they stabd to the side so as not to block the breeze.

These are the same Tall Bastards that push to the front of gigs so no one else can see. Such selfish Bastards!! AngryAngrySometimes I really hate men.

My husband is 6’2” and he has perfect manners.

Soola · 25/07/2019 21:26

Mph means hmmm

Wavyheaded · 25/07/2019 21:49

And the reason why you didn’t politely ask him to move a bit so that air could come in, was
was in middle of carriage and he was at one end and there were people in between. And I can't do it every single time, it's hard work.

come home and froth on the internet
That's what it's for.

Tall people are useful. I often ask them to reach stuff from high shelves for me in the supermarket and they never say no.

I always offer to get them something from a low shelf in return though - I'm helpful like that.

@Wavyheaded fair enough! Good reply.

Tomorrow you must be prepared for such dastardly doings and arm yourself with a super soaker!

My husband is 6'4" , and is the nicest, most polite, conscientious person I've ever known. You sound unhinged.

TheFairyCaravan · 25/07/2019 22:18

My 6'4 DS2 is currently on nights in A&E. He's already saved a newborn's life this week, the absolute selfish bastard that he is.

DH, who is also 6'4, is incredibly polite and well mannered.

SudowoodoVoodoo · 25/07/2019 22:27

Never a tall person conveniently placed in the supermarket when the stock I need is to the back of the top shelf. Grin

DH (6') sat behind me in a recent event as it's easy for him to see over my head and saved the view from another seat.
It is annoying and claustrophic living at shoulder/ chest level to the rest of society. In the winter, its the bulky fluffy hoods that get my ire for inconsiderate view blocking.
