Plantation shutters - refund?

nespressowoo · 25/07/2019 15:14

Long story short.

We have custom plantation shutters being fitted in around 10 days. Already paid a 50% deposit. Rest of the balance needs paying day before they are fitted.

We are now thinking of moving house. Is it worth asking to cancel them? Do we have any rights? I can't find the flipping paperwork Sad

I know I should call them but don't want to wind them up.

You say custom presume you mean made to measure. Think there will be no refund or cancellation clause as they are custom made for you not off the shelf standard sizes.

As rwalker says, they can't be used elsewhere.

Thanks, both. I feared that was the case

If you’re just thinking of moving, you could still get quite a bit of use out of them and it could be a selling feature for the house.
